Hey everybody! My name is Cesar Lopez, but you can call me C Lo. I am a huge fan of movies and I appreciate all kinds of movies. Since I love watching and talking about movies, I thought I'd make this page and tell you a little bit about how I feel on certain movies. I am going to school to major in Journalism and minoring in Cinema. I will hopefully be posting at least once or maybe twice a week. You can expect to see at least one review every Saturday. Also, I would welcome everyone to maybe leave a comment on what you think of my review (agree or disagree), what you think of the movie, what you would like to see me review, what you think I could improve on in these reviews, or anything you would like to say about anything. In any case, I will read it, absorb everything you say, and try my best to respond. Thank you everyone for listening to me :) It is definitely appreciated!

Suicide Squad Trailer Review

Suicide Squad (Trailer)
Suicide Squad is the new DC Comics movie directed by David Ayer. This film tells the origin story of the ne'er-do-well team of Harley Quinn (Margo Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), and some other Batman villains that no one really knows or cares about (at least I don't).
The trailer starts off with Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) talking with some other associates about putting together a team of bad guys to do good stuff. The reason behind this logic, she says, is because they are bad people and if they mess up their mission, then the blood is on the hands of the bad guy. Now cue the montage!

The rest of the trailer introduces some of the characters and some action scenes with the Bee Gees song "I Started A Joke" sung in a much slower and darker tone. A great song by the way. Even though this trailer enforces a strong direction towards the characters in the squad, there are other moments in this trailer that many comic book nerds, even regular movie goers, will feel a sense of excitement. The most prevalent moment and most anticipated is definitely at the end of the trailer when this guys is shown....

^   Same Person????   ^

Jared Leto as The Joker....Wow. What a treat to put this moment at the end of the trailer. Jared Leto got so immersed in playing The Joker, he wouldn't break out of character on set even when he wasn't filming. He even sent random "Joker-like" presents like a rat to Margo Robbie and bullets to Will Smith. But other than the immersing into the character, he LOOKS like an younger version of the Joker.

The Suicide Squad trailer definitely has a dark tone. It seems like the acting will be spot on (Jai Courtney...maybe not so much). The only con I have to say about the trailer is that it may have given away too much about what characters will be in it. But other than that, this is a movie I will definitely check out. I hope Jared Leto's Joker portrayal is good! :)
